Account Executive, Wellness

The Account Executive Wellness will be responsible for growing Catalent’s Consumer Healthcare business in its assigned region within United States and Canada. Strategically developing and executing a growth-centric account plan, with a strong understanding of market demand and fluctuations and the ability to provide our customer with solutions; ultimately growing the Catalent’s Portfolio of offerings.

This is a remote, field based role with travel required to build/support client base.

The Role

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities within assigned portfolio of accounts and prospecting new opportunities with new accounts.
  • Identifies key account decision makers and influencers.
  • Prepares well for calls/visits, must be natural in front of the customers in order to understand client needs and develop tailored, innovative solutions.
  • Manage business relationships with assigned customers. Responsibilities include pricing, contract extensions/amendments, forecasting, periodic business review meetings, and other customer service-related issues.
  • Ability to prioritize time on the right opportunities to maximize results.
  • Understands the customer’s decision making processes and identifies each key decision maker’s individual issues and wins.
  • Sets account objectives and establishes a plan for achieving results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate:

  • A BS/BA degree is required.
  • Minimum 3 years in a business development role, with relevant experience in the outsourcing market (CMO, CRO, CSO) preferably in the VMS space.
  • Proven track record with new account penetration is required.
  • Proven ability to organize and plan work, manage travel, and balance multiple priorities effectively is required.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar customer relationship management tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of cross-functional teams is required.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% to visit clients as well as meet with clients in Catalent's manufacturing facilities.
